Admission to the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) by Research program requires a Master's degree and at least three years of business or management experience. Terra Nova University’s DBA can be achieved only via distance learning: the structure of the program consists of writing an original thesis, as a result of the candidate’s autonomous and independent research, on a specific business-related academic area among the available disciplines.

Being entirely via distance learning and by Research, our DBA program has a much lower cost compared to a traditional DBA, usually spread over two or three years of study. In fact, each credit costs only 50 euros, compared to about 250 euros for an on-campus program. Since 65 credits are required, the final cost of the program is 3250 euros all-inclusive.

How to apply for the DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) by Research

The DBA is the highest academic degree obtainable in the business field and is available either in the generic DBA format (i.e. Doctor of Business Administration, without a specific major), or by focusing on one of the specific disciplines available at Terra Nova University (i.e. DBA in Management, Finance, Executive Leadership, Banking, etc.).
