I corsi di laurea a distanza della Terra Nova University di questa facoltà di Life and Earth Science permettono di accedere a specializzazioni in cui lo studente può scegliere gli argomenti di suo interesse per progettare un corso di laurea a distanza completamente adattato alla sua vocazione. Di solito non ci sono impedimenti per la pratica professionale di queste discipline in posti scientifici di medio livello, in posizioni manageriali o dal punto di vista professionale.


Un corso di laurea a distanza non è l'opzione migliore per la ricerca scientifica avanzata.


L'ammissione a questi programmi è ristretta e limitata a candidati qualificati che abbiano dimostrato di possedere conoscenze teoriche e tecniche nei loro campi di studio, a causa del fatto che, molti dei crediti richiesti nella specializzazione scientifica non possono essere forniti efficacemente attraverso l'istruzione superiore a distanza. Un corso di laurea a distanza della Terra Nova University è utile per costruire un modo efficace di integrare una formazione scientifica tradizionale con approcci innovativi e ulteriori specializzazioni.
